The BioCosmos Africa Digital Learning Platform is an innovative extension of the foundation’s mission to democratize access to knowledge across the continent through self-paced, flexible and easily accessible avenue at the comfort of the candidate’s environment. Designed to empower learners, educators, and researchers, the platform offers synthesized Intelligent Design educational content and creates an interactive environment for scientific inquiry and dialogue. The material is presented into a simpler component that allows candidates to synthesize with ease so as to ensure completion of the course.
The courses are structured into tracks which includes:
Track 1: ID Course Through the Lenses of African Scholars
Track 2: Beyond Evolution: A Guided Journey with Dr. Lencer Ndede
Track 3: Foundations of Intelligent Design with Dr. Paul Nelson
Track 4: The Majesty and Mystery of Life: Insights from Prof. Tveter
One of the main tailored-made courses is Track 1. At the heart of Track 1 – ID Course Through the Lenses of African Scholars, are Three Module specialized learning tracks, each curated to provide unique perspectives and deep insights into the study of life, origins, and the universe:
Module 1:
- Worldviews
- Overview of Theories and other explanations of Origin
- The Concept of Microevolution and Macroevolution
- Implications of Social Darwinism in Africa
- Concept of Intelligent Design
- Reasons for studying intelligent design
- Design Detection Methods
- Positive Case for Intelligent Design
Module 2:
- Design in the Origin and Operation of the Universe
- Big Bang Theory and Cosmic design
- The Origin and Development of Life
- The Gaps in the Fossil Record: Case for Intelligent Design
Module 3:
